2025 Columbus Drive-In

Description

The Annual Columbus Drive-In is around the corner and will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, April 2, at the Ohio Chamber in Columbus. Past Drive-Ins have resulted in millions of dollars in state funding and essential policies to help make the Mahoning Valley a better place to live, learn, work, and raise a family. The day will consist of 75-100 Valley leaders holding meetings with the most influential state policymakers.

With a broad range of community Operating Budget projects, the Drive-In provides the means to advocate for the Valley. Speakers at the event will be forthcoming, but as always, with the ever-changing political landscape, we must understand that our agenda could change at a moment's notice. We will do our best to accommodate, should this happen.

In partnership with Youngstown State University, we will be hosting a Red & White Welcome Reception on Tuesday, April 1, from 6 - 8 p.m. at the Ohio Statehouse in the Museum Gallery. There will be an open bar with hors d'oeuvres.This event will be an "all invite" event, which means that all members of the 136th General Assembly and the Executive Branch will receive an invitation. It is also targeted at YSU alum and Youngstown natives living and working in Columbus to attend.

Prior to the main event on Wednesday morning, we are inviting the members of our delegation who represent the Lake to River region to a Delegation Coffee Hour from 8:30 - 9:30 a.m. at the Ohio Chamber. This is a great opportunity to access our areas representatives and senators.

The Hotel Room Block at the Renaissance is full but guests can still call the hotel directly at 614-233-7508 to book a room.
