Salute to Business is just around the corner! We're looking forward to honoring business leaders, as well as our member businesses that are celebrating milestone anniversaries in 2021. Salute also marks and is the official kick off to the Canfield Fair and Youngstown State University football, both of which we missed last year. 

Our morning will conclude with a special fireside chat with keynote speaker Barry Zekelman, Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Zekelman Industries. Zekelman Industries is the largest independent steel tube manufacturer in North America, churning out more than 2.5 million tons of steel products each year — primarily pipes, large structural steel elements and electrical conduits used in construction.

Barry started at Atlas Tube and assumed ownership, along with his brothers, with his father’s sudden passing in 1986 while Barry was still studying at York University in Toronto. Under Barry Zekelman’s leadership, the business grew from $2 million to over $1.2 billion in sales.
