The Mahoning Valley Safety Council's September webinar includes a timely update from Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation's Christine Williams.

The presentation will cover the BWC's response to the ongoing pandemic, as well as the current status of the true up process for public and private employers, and other important dates to be aware of. Additionally, she will discuss how the BWC sets rates and the various available strategies to control costs and ultimately reduce premiums.

Christine has been with the Ohio BWC for more than 20 years. She first served as an Employer Services Specialist, where she assisted employers in complying with BWC programs such as the Premium Discount Program and the Drug Free Workplace Program. She currently serves as the Regional Business Consultant in four northeastern Ohio counties, where she acts as a liaison between the BWC and area employers, using her extensive workers' compensation and technical expertise to assist employers in the development and implementation of effective risk management strategies.
