The Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber will host its third annual Washington, D.C. Fly-In—this year, as a virtual/hybrid event—to promote an exchange of ideas between federal officials and the Valley's leaders to ensure that our region's voice is loud, clear and influential in the U.S. Capital.
The Fly-In features a full day of activities. The top priority will be addressing the needs and opportunities at the Youngstown Air Reserve Station (YARS), Trumbull County's largest employer. That includes assigning new C-130J model aircraft to YARS, a decision forthcoming from Lt. Gen. Scobee's office.
Another priority will be federal investment in a smart logistics hub along Bailey Road in Mahoning County and Route 45 in Trumbull County.
This event will take place at Stambaugh Auditorium. A maximum of 50 people will be seated in the 500 person ballroom, with no more than 2 people per table. Some meetings will be held in person, and the rest will be virtual.
