Featuring: Pat McCon, CSP, CFPS, CHMM / AVP/Principal Risk Engineering Specialist / Industry Practice Leader - Manufacturing / Zurich Resilience Solutions | Risk Engineering
OSHA employs a cadre of Compliance Safety and Health Officers (CSHOs) who are authorized to enter at reasonable times any place of employment covered by the Act in order to conduct inspections and investigations. The results of these visits can include citations, penalties and abatement requirements. Being prepared for an OSHA inspection can help it be less painful—and perhaps less expensive. On the other hand, being unprepared or reacting poorly can be costly beyond the penalties – including business lost because of a poor OSHA record. Join us to hear practical ideas for preparing for an inspection, for handling a visit by OSHA, and for dealing with the aftermath of the inspection.
