Valley Native Dr. Nick Kupensky To Discuss the War Between Russia and the Ukraine at Economic Forecast Breakfast

This year's Economic Forecast Breakfast brings attention to and perspective on the warring nations of Ukraine and Russia, as Masury native and Associate Professor of Russian at the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado, Nick Kupensky, keynotes this annual event. Dr. Kupensky has studied and lived in both countries and will offer up his thoughts on the differences between the two, including their cultures, histories and traditions. He will share his own personal stories and experiences to illustrate and support those differences and predict what may happen through year's end and into 2023.

David Valentiner, Director of Interest Rate Management for First National Bank, will discuss the implications of that war on the energy and defense industries as he forecasts the regional and national economies.

We will kick off our Forecast with the presentation of our sixth Excellence In Manufacturing Award in partnership with MAGNET.
